Learn how to engage cooperation; set rules, expectations and
limits; alternatives to punishment; and anger management.

• Active Parenting of Teens
A 6-week program that will address parenting styles, courage and
self-esteem, teen behavior, problem-solving, responsibility and discipline,
cooperation and communication, adolescent  development, and other
issues facing teens today. Parents will also have opportunities to practice
strategies for addressing sensitive issues such as substance abuse,
violence and sexuality. Dates: Thursdays, May 1June 5

1,2,3,4 Parents!
A  3-week program for parents with children ages 1-4. Learn discipline methods that work, how to prevent
tantrums, routines to make life easier, and more. Location: Lewiston Adult Education:  Dates: April 29, May 6, 13

S-M-A-R-T Baby Events!
Come learn how singing and playing together makes your baby smart! Sensory, Motor, Attachment, Reading and Temperament
stations will have ideas and activities to stimulate your baby’s growth. This interactive event is for parents with babies newborn
to 24 months old.  Two Dates:
     • Thursday, April 3 Time: 5:45-7:00pm  Location:  Auburn Public Library  Fee: Free, no registration required.
     • Friday, April 11
Time: 9:45-11:00am  Location: Lewiston Public Library  Fee: Free, no registration required
