Advocates for Children is a community-based non-profit organization that fosters programs to prevent child maltreatment and empower children and families to live healthy and productive lives.

Located in downtown Lewiston, Maine, our Parent Resource Center is an invaluable resource for families with children of any age. The PRC offers interactive parent-child playgroups, an extensive lending library, and many classes and workshops on various parenting topics.

Cans & Bottles

Here's an EASY way to help Advocates for Children:
Plan now to save up your returnable cans & bottles and bring them to any Shaw's location in Maine during the ENTIRE month of APRIL. Each store has special donation boxes set up to collect donated cans and bottles. Portions of the proceeds from this collection are shared with Advocates for Children, and will be used to provide programs for parents and children in Androscoggin County. Thanks so much to Shaw's for their continued support of our work!
